You are the light of the world

Matthew 5:14-16

14 “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden; 15 nor does anyone light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on the lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. 16 Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.

What does the Bible mean about to be Light Of The World?

This means to live a humble life before God and men, doing always good deeds and follow His commandments, obeying him all the time, loving others, forgiving those who persecute you and so many other things.

The world looks for direction and it is necessary for the light to be in action.

Everyone around you is watching everything that you are doing and for this reason, you need to seek constant wisdom from God because if you fail those who see you failing probably will not listen to all the good things that you already taught them or still have to say.

No one is perfect but it is important to be careful in this world because you are the light and there is no way to hide this from the world.
