Praying to God
A prayer is a spiritual tool that can be used to open doors and deliver us from evil. It is not all prayers that God is favorable. God can answer with “NO”, “YES” or WAIT. Successful prayer is the one God answer to one of his children and confirms it through dreams and peace in their heart. How often a believer is so confident in their prayer complained about a specific answer that never came. God is not limited to space, time, or location and the way that he answers prayers is something that concerns him first and second to the petitioner. God can say yes to some petition since that request will not compromise the well-being of the petitioner. Jesus said in James 4:3, “You ask and do not receive, because you ask wrongly, to spend it on your passions.” The servant of the Lord needs to analyze what he is asking Jesus because answers depend on what he wants. Sometimes it will bring him more pain and more sorrow instead of relief.
Powerful prayers to destroy your enemies
If God answers prayer this is, a good sign that he liked it. Joshua stopped the sun, 3224 years ago. Joshua was in battle with the Amorites he prayed in loud voice “Stop, Sun, over Gibeon; Halt, Moon, over Aijalon Valley.” Moreover, Sun stopped, Moon, stood stock still until he defeated his enemies. The Israelites were going to be at a disadvantage before the enemy if the night arrives. Possibly, they did not know the land very well and the enemy does which could be a disaster for Israel. For this reason, the night did not come until Joshua eliminate God’s enemy.
Prayer for healing
The apostle Paul wrote, “Therefore, so that I would not exalt myself, a thorn in the flesh was given to me, a messenger of Satan to torment me so I would not exalt myself. Concerning this, I pleaded with the Lord three times to take it away from me. But He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness.” Sometimes God wants to work and do his will and transform anyone into a better person for a reason. He allows the pain and suffering to come because he knows that will bring a good result in his child’s life.
God tests our faith
To battle against the devil and his demons the servant of the lord must be strong in the spirit and he has to be tested. Everyone one wishes power but none wants to suffer the pain that it causes. Jesus promised to give his grace that is enough to conquer anything. God also can respond to a prayer with the answer “Wait”. Abraham is a good example, God promised him a son but it came through only when he was 100 years old.
Scriptures on making decisions
The Servant of the Lord has to understand and respect God’s decision. When prayer comes with consecration is more powerful. In the past, the disciple of Jesus was able to perform many miracles because they set themselves apart and this action pleased God. If you prayed and know that God did not appreciate your request, do not feel discourage change a little bit your prayer, consecrate your life and things will change in your favor. State your case to God because he is faithful to listen and bring your case to justice. The book of Isaias chapter 43:25-26 says, “It is I who sweep away your transgressions for My own sake and remember your sins no more. Take Me to court; let us argue our case together. State your case, so that you may be vindicated.” The almighty God is a Good God and you can lean upon him.
Trust in the lord
Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths. Proverbs 3:5-6
