If God is for us who can be against us

If God is for us who can be against us?

To live in victory or a defeated life?

Challenges

What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?  Romans 8:31-35

Trust in God

Why so many people live in defeat and always are insecure about the next step in life? The answer is very easy…the lack of faith and trust in God. The Lord Almighty is a good God who cares about everything you do and plan. Jesus said that the Devil came to lie, to steal, and to kill. Different from God, who always speaks the truth, the Devil is a master in the art of illusion. In the beginning, he lied to Eve. He told her that she was going to be like God if she eats the forbidden fruit. Eve was defeated on this day because she believed in the words of the Devil and disobeyed God. Spiritually she died along with Adam who believed in what Eve said. They lost the privilege to live in God’s dimension.

False promises

Human history is full of examples of people who were defeated because of lies and false promises. All deceptions that the Devil created to torment humankind. In his mercy and love, God looked from heaven and did not see anyone capable of defeating the Devil, the father of lies, and for this reason, he sent his son Jesus to face the Devil and destroy him. Jesus revealed to us that the Devil is weak before him and he already lost the battle.

Difficulties, troubles and so many pains in this life are our heritage that Adam and Eve left to all humans. When we face troubles and all kinds of difficulties, there are two ways, to go through all this pain. First to go alone and second to go with Jesus. Without Jesus, we fail because there is no power in us capable to defeat the Devil, and for this reason, so many people live a miserable life and without hope. With Jesus, we prevail against all pain and difficulties that the Devil may bring against our lives.

For this reason, the Apostle Paul wrote to the Romans asking them who or what circumstance could separate us from God. Nothing, because with Jesus, who gave us God’s grace, we can live an abundant life before God and men.

Spirit of the living God

It is not true when people say that with God everything is always good. With God, yes this can be true in the spiritual, not a promise in the material world. When we live in spirit, we live in God’s dimension where nothing in this world can affect us. This is the place where the love of God dwells and many secrets of life are hidden. It is not everyone who can live in this dimension, for this reason, they failed and live a difficult life and without hope.

The book of Job reveals to us that Job was a man who lived in God’s dimension because of the way he faced all his pain and continued loving God. In one of his words, he said “But as for me, I know that my Redeemer lives, and he will stand upon the earth at last. And after my body has decayed, yet in my body, I will see God! I will see him for myself. Yes, I will see him with my own eyes. I am overwhelmed at the thought!” Job suffered all kinds of suffering at the same time, but he was a man of God who knew that this life is just a fast journey that all men are going through.
